Here comes the sun!

It’s that time of year when the happiest flower comes out to play - the sunflower! This posy celebrates all the beautiful British summer flowers that are currently in bloom in the cutting garden. There's fragrance from lavender, marjoram, phlox and basil mint and it’s all homegrown except the sunflower and pinks. I have been so pleased with how everything is growing in our cutting garden this year. Mum has done an amazing job with improving the soil over the years (naturally of course!) and tending to the many varieties we are growing. I’m also very grateful to the resident ducks that do a fantastic job of slug control!
