Is it a rose?

It's a tulip!
I haven't used these tulips before - they have unusual curved petals and are called white liberstar crown tulips. They have a rose-bud shaped head which I think makes them very elegant. We are also using top notch pom pom ranunculus which can also be mistaken for garden roses or peonies with their big heads full of petals. Both these flowers are from a large family-run flower farm in Lincolnshire called Smith and Munson.
