Sea holly
Sea holly, or eryngium, is a handy ingredient for texture and colour at this time of the year. Ever popular for Scottish weddings, this thistle-like flower is a rare 'true blue' in the garden. We've added some trusty berry-toned Lincolnshire chrysanthemums and a number of British, seasonal foliages to add to the posy mix this week.
Did you know, on this day in 1919, the first flight took off from England to Australia. It took 28 days and a total of 135 flying hours. As the borders start to open up again for international flights, it has been such a tough time for those with loved-ones overseas. I've enjoyed seeing some of the airport reunion photos in the news this week.
