Lily of the Valley
Lily of the Valley, otherwise known as Our Lady's Tears, May bells, and glovewort. An absolute gem in the woodlands at this time of year and easy to grow in the garden if you have a shady spot. You'll find a stem tucked into each posy this week so you can enjoy it's beautiful fragrance.
We've also got Solomon's seal for the first time this season which is an unusual ornamental plant that is also shade-loving. To liven things up we have added flame coloured crown tulips and ranunculus from Lincolnshire.
