Supermums deserve...

Superflowers!

A late flutter of mini brassicas has helped changed the look of the posies this week. Dare I say it, they're actually rather pretty with their dainty feathery leaves and purple centres, and go nicely with the purple tulips just opening out.

Brassicas frequently top the 'superfood' charts as they're packed with Vitamin C, Vitamin K, iron and potassium and regular consumption is thought to reduce the risk of certain cancers. I wouldn't suggest eating these ones but why not pop an extra broccoli in your basket this week!

The sunshine we've been enjoying has brought on my mimosa and I'm looking forward to the first pickings of yellow pompoms from our new tree next week.
