Wimbledon-themed British grown flowers

The Wimbledon finals are nearly here. Perhaps you’ll be watching them at home or having friends round to make an occasion of it. I thought I would celebrate this prestigious event with a Wimbledon-themed posy of British grown flowers. Wimbledon is famously known for its purple and green colour-scheme and, fortunately, these are colours that can be easily found at this time of the year in British flowers. I was particularly pleased with the 'purple stars' eryngium which is both purple and green at the same time. I have also tucked in some Wimbledon whites and some yellow helichrysum 'tennis balls'.

It’s also the Euro 2024 final too of course, so whether you’re into tennis or football (or neither!) I hope you have an enjoyable weekend.
