Homegrown mimosa and British tulip posy in a glass jar

Acacia dealbata, or...

Silver wattle

What a joy to live somewhere where Acacia dealbata, or 'mimosa', will thrive. Lucky for us, this semi-hardy tree can survive by the coast where frosts aren't too heavy. I would have liked to have seen snow this week like other parts of the country, but at least we can have the mimosa! And if your patience is wearing a bit thin this week with stay home and homeschooling, you could also try the other type of mimosa of course - orange juice and champagne!

What's in the posy?

Tulip, narcissi, viburnum, pittosporum, hyacinth, eucalyptus, alstroemeria, beech twigs, mimosa.

What's fragrant?

Mimosa, narcissi, hyacinth, eucalyptus.
