May in the Cutting Garden

Now we're into May, the warm sunshine is bringing everything to life. Our New Forest cutting garden is getting more colourful every day and we heard our first cuckoo. Right now we've got the sweet williams, cornflowers, purple sensation alliums and solomon's seal and peonies in flower.

And exciting news - May means the RHS Chelsea Flower Show is just moments away! This year, I'm delighted to be providing posies to adorn two fellow Buy Women Built founder's stands: A Little Bird Co bird-foods, and the stunning outside kitchens by Charlie Oven as well. If you've got tickets, I hope you have a wonderful day out, and do keep a look out for our posies!

At the moment in the posies, we have a late spring selection such as cornflowers, iris, alstroemeria, tulips and sweet williams with most of the flowers grown in the South West and some in Lincolnshire.
