Wimbledon flowers

It's a great time of year to watch the tennis on the telly and it's also a great time of year for British flowers! Our cutting garden is full to bursting with enough purple and green themed lovelies to make up this special bunch. The recent rain has helped everything green up and in this arrangement you might be able to spot the following homegrown ingredients to compliment the Lincolnshire sunflower: eryngium, alchemilla mollis, love in a mist seedhead, statis, and fragrance from phlox, marigold, marjoram, flowering mint and the extra-special rose-scented geranium.

I've been a bit of a headless chicken as we get to the end of the school year, but I'm very much looking forward to watching the Wimbledon finals over the weekend and I hope you get time to sit down too!
