Autumnal British flowers and foliage including pampas grass

What's in the posy, British grown celosia

Flame or brain? That is the question! In our posies this week we have two types of pink celosia, the flame shaped one and the brain-shaped one - which one have you got?! Celosia, often known as cockscomb or woolflower, has heads in a variety of bright colours such as pink, yellow and orange. It is native to tropical and sub-tropical areas and is a nutritious edible plant which is grown as a food crop in parts of Asia and Africa. We’ve added flame-coloured sunflower to the mix and we think this arrangement is looking decidedly autumnal! Included this week is British grown celosia, pampas grass, abelia, sedum, gypsophila, sunflower, camellia, eryngium, choysia and alstroemeria.
